ExperimentalPre-v1Not an emergency service

Experimental public-interest privacy infrastructure, built to stay in public hands

Record the truth. Keep the keys.

Proofline is an experimental open-source project for records that should not disappear just because a phone does. It is being built to preserve encrypted evidence as events unfold, while keeping access explicit, bounded, and user-controlled.

Proofline is experimental, not an emergency service, and not a guaranteed real-time response system.

Community services

Separate privacy-respecting tools for the public web.

Community services are best-effort open-source tools operated separately from Proofline Server. They are not part of Proofline's safety, evidence, account, or emergency workflows.

Redlib is now live as the first Proofline Community Service.

A privacy-friendly Reddit frontend, hosted on Proofline-operated dedicated hardware in Victoria, Australia.

Best effort

Services may be updated, restarted, rate-limited, or temporarily unavailable during maintenance or abuse mitigation.

Separate system

They are separate from Proofline Server and do not store Proofline evidence, account data, or safety-context records.

Start with the boring truths.

Prototype status, safety boundaries, and source links, because trust should not require interpretive dance.

Plain explanation

Read the About page for what Proofline is being built for, what it refuses to be, and why safety software needs governance that cannot be quietly sold with a nicer logo.

Current status

Proofline has experimental server and web-client work today. The status page separates what exists from what is partial, planned, or not ready, because prototype optimism is not a safety feature.

Community services

Community services are useful public tools operated separately from Proofline's safety and evidence system. They are side quests, clearly labelled.
